Refurbished iPhone from Apple

Been to the other Apple Retail Store's genius bars, they fix my iPhone 6 (front camera has a crescent moon, means it shifted internally), no questions asked. They probably just checked under the serial number and that's it. This was in HK.

In the US, they fix or replaced the iPhone with no questions asked.

What you are saying is... iPhones do not have real solid warranties. You have to pay extra for a real warranty. In which case, we should price in AppleCare when we make our phone choice. This is not right as iPhones are expensive.

well the warranties are legit.. just that the local aasp are making it difficult for us.. if there is a genius bar, we wouldnt need to jump through all these hoops. the 2nd yr and accident cover is what we are paying for thru the apple care+... the default warranty... just covers the manufacturer's defect which i mentioned is what made us angst due to 3rd party handling it....

I intend to my pass my coming 2 years old iPhone 6plus with extended warranty to my son. Before my warranty end, I thinking to step in to wheelock repair centre, pay $108 to get a refurbished phone. Do u think they will entertain me even though they find nothing wrong with my phone?

Just worried that my current iPhone might not last for another 2-3 years for my son to use and. Since it is still under the extended warranty now, I hope to pay the $108 to get a refurbished set to last for another few more years.

Im sure in order to get a refurbished set your iphone needs to be damage beyond normal repair like... hmmmm bending? or total water submerge damage? im sure you do have a tight pair of jeans and you usually put ur phone in ur back pocket? or have butter fingers and oops u drop ur phone into water? haha "oops"

For what? Your phone no problem, somemore refurbished sets might not be as good as non-refurbished.

Keep us posted if you manage to do it. I'm keen to do the same to make full use of Apple Care plus to reduce my average cost of ownership over 4 years.

Apple never sell refurbished iPhone.
they only provide refurbished as warranty replacement.

my 2-times iPhone replacement(refurbished) from apple have zero charge cycle.

yeah, apple do not sell refurbished iphones, its via replacement or repair.
phone prices drop when a new model is released, tt's all

Since when ? I just activated the express replacement by paying $38, and a new reburished set was sent to my doorstep
