The price for mba 13" 2014 has dropped to $908 after the release of 2016 MBA.

I just paid $998 for it.

I bought for my 5S, and 6 for my wife. But Applecare+ for 6S too expensive for me, so never buy.

if buy the phone from telco, take the insurance plan offered by at monthly - $8 or $10 even better. can swap for replacement or in the case of loss at certain fee only.

Advocate for Applecare be it with "+" or not.... since applecare is refundable for the balance of the unused days of applecare...

my macbook pro retina 2014 edition is refurbished unit and it works ok until today. It looks and feels as good as new. nothing to complain about....maxed out specs... very value for money. Has got applecare on it as well.

As for iphones, yes also have applecare+ on it. On the 5S, 6, 6S, and SE.

Can get a large windows laptop with Ips dislay at $900. The Macbook air is not worth it. It's a small screen not suitable for school

I got myself a MBP..problem after 12 months.. Good luck if u don't buy Apple care.. Tech stuffs are not built to last these days.

Exactly what happened to my rMBP. Got many problems after 1yr. Repairing cost half a brand new macbook. Since i no need the "pro" features anymore, downgrading to a brand new machine seems more worth it

you don't need a docking station. you just need a minidisplay port to either a HDMI or VGA converter. Apple sells it as well.

When you connect to the display, the system will automatically detect the external display and offer you options, either to blank your MacBook air screen or simply mirror with the monitor..

For an elegant solution, maybe you can look at this?

At least the cable clutter is lesser (due to the specially designed hole), and takes up less space with the MBA standing vertical.

As for keyboard, I guess the layout and the numeric keys are easily accessible? Maybe can look at Matias Tactile pro mechanical keyboard or other windows keyboard but with re-mapping?
