Any recommendations for private PDI at BBDC?

Got my license 2 weeks back. Learnt under Mr Sidik, CDC. Class 3 Manual. He meets me at Eunos MRT for lessons.
Great instructor! He's always polite and respectful, doesn't shout or curse at you (unlike some instructors I've heard about).
He gives you a lot of freedom in the car once you're more or less proficient, so his lessons are more suitable for the more 'independent' people who prefer learning things by themselves.
His method for the circuit test is foolproof. As long as you remember his pointers, you'll breeze through the circuit as long as you can control the clutch well.
One thing that makes him a great choice of instructor, though, is his car. It's less than a year old currently, and handles very well. The clutch pedal is quite forgiving with its biting point, which was a godsend for my dumb left leg.
Only downside is it may be a bit hard to book more than one lesson with him every week if you're in a hurry to get your license. He's also a little on the pricier side, as far as PDIs go, but worth it in my opinion.
PM me if you want his contact!
Hi there. I found one instructor off pdireviews on the internet. Engaged him as my class 3 manual instructor, went for my second lesson today. He's very patient (so far so good for me), but unfortunately he's Chinese speaking. He teaches at Ubi. Pm me if you want his contact.
Anyone needs a PDI at ubi?
Both of my friends passed at 1st attempt.
He teaches manual using Nissan sunny , mon-sun, teaches til night.
You have to meet him at the coffeeshop outside ubi.
Basically, he teaches you stage by stage, u-turn- filter lane - right turn- main road u-turn - parking - circuit.
He can converse well in Mandarin and English.
He have good teaching techniques for every stage in circuit. Step by step method, usually can get the hang of it within 2~3 circuit lesson.
He is usually fully aware of your mistake in circuit, for example turning too slowly, positioning mistake etc.
However, he do scold. but won't nag, as long as you acknowledge your mistake.
He will be very attentive if you are new learner, guiding step by step. Timing for clutching in, braking, accelerating, signal etc.
If you are really good and ready, you can book your tp on the 3rd or 5th lesson. By the 12th lessons, you can enter the circuit.
I think he charges $28/hr.
Do PM me if you think he's suitable for your learning style.
I personally like Mdm Lim. She teaches manual @Ubi. But she prefers morning and daytimes.
Anyone got good PDI to recommend? Prefer North East area, cdc.
Hi there, just wanted to ask if you could share his contact with me. ThanksHi guys,
Just passed my TP this morning! (First Attempt)
He teaches manual.
If anybody look for PDI around west area can contact my instructor, Raymond.
He's pickup point is as lakeside MRT station there. Rate is 26/hr for non peak, 28/hr for peak.
He have teaching experience of 30years, driving a white mit lancer.
Basically, he's very patient with me and always say "There's no "un-teachable students unless the students itself don't want to learn." He will let you drive around Jurong West area till he feel that you're ready for TP route. Learning from him, you will feel that your on road driving is much better compare to those school learners 1. He got his own ways of teaching and own theory of booking test date. So is either you want or don't want to listen.
One thing to note is that, he can't stand stubborn people that always talk back. He is those responsible type unlike some will fall asleep or don't care about you. If you don't mind him listening to oldies and eating tidbits while teaching, then it should be alright.
There's a one-time registration fee of S$50, and for test day, there's a charge of S$78 for use of his car(26 x 3). He will explain and calculate everything nicely for you. So don't have to worry.
Those who want his contact can PM me.![]()
Hi there, could you please PM me his contact? Thanks ^_^Stop creating fake accounts and recommending urself man...
New scam to psycho ur existing students not to quit and find another instructor ?? My advice to you is if u want more students or to keep ur current students, pls change ur negative attitude, ur students are not paying money to get scolded by you. For those who is thinking about engaging him as a pdi, pls kindly think twice... I was once a student under him and I will post my review about him for all to read.
Hi bro, I just passed my test last week at cdc on my first try with 18 points though, even though i felt some of the points were not given correctly but hey a pass is still a pass right?? Oh and btw my first pdi was actually Ivan tan, after a few lessons with him, I really buay tahan his attitude... so unprofessional and always scold without any reason!! After that i decided to look for a new instructor online, i was interested in the top few instructors with tons of good reviews hence i decided to call them but it was no surprise that they were all fully booked within the next 2 months. And since i dont wanna risk finding another lousy instructor, i decided to ask them to recommend me some instructors, out of 3 pdi recommended if i rmb correctly, only 1 was currently free to accept new students. His name is Frankie. Even though his schedule is actually quite tight but if u inform him early enough he will try his best to accomodate ur schedule. During my first lesson with him, he asked me if i knew how to drive already, i said yes since i took a few lessons with ivan tan alr but turns out i missed out so many things that is required in a tp test( checking blindspots, correct turning point etc) which ivan tan nv emphasised during the few lessons i learnt from him. after he saw my driving skills which was really bad at that point in time, he took out a file, a THICK file with lots of notes inside and he took a toy car tgt with his notes and showed me how to turn properly,( dont cut into other lane, dont turn too early/late) which I felt was very effective. he also emphasised a lot on checking of blindspots which is a good habit esp during ur tp! after i took a few lessons with him, when he started to teach me parking, he took out the toy car along with his notes and demonstrated the whole process which again i felt was very effective.
All in all, he is a pretty damn good instructor imo but pls be cautioned he only speaks chinese and he is not the chatty type so dont expect him to chat with u thru out the whole lesson but he is definitely very patient and doesnt scold, the most he do will be to remind u about ur past mistakes and not to repeat them.( and maybe sometimes sigh a bit?? can also be due to him being bored la, whole day in the car, or maybe im too sensitive lol). Also, for those "ji jiao" people who scared their pdi scam their money by wasting time, thru out my 10+ lessons with him, he only went to the toilet twice and its less than 5 min so pls be rest assured he will treat ur time seriously. If u want his contact number pls pm me as I'm not sure if it will be nice to give his number out openly.
