Hi Kallstrom,
Yupz my TP is at SSDC. Book liao but have to cancel lor..no choice...Coz i no longer learning with him...Now looking for another instructor (manual) teaching around woodlands area...You looking for instructor too?
Basically he is being petty about fetch and send service. I am in fact paying for it. But he make it sound as if its a "free service". His vehicle is a racer modified car. He is more conscious about his car than teaching me. There was once, i accidentally change gear while in half clutch mode, he bolted so strongly that i was taken aback. As a student who is a beginner in driving we are bound to make such mistake right so why the sudden reaction by him.
In addition, i told him in 1 of my lesson that i could only commit an hour due to work commitment. Instead of acceding, he flare up saying he do not teach for an hour.
Told myself enough is enough and i would not succumb to such incident again.
To anyone of you who is planning to engage Ang Pho Tho, SFA 1840 L as your private driving intsructor, please think twice.
I took private manual for 2 lessons before decided to change to auto. 2nd lesson went on the road and let's jus say I nearly caused an accident which shocked me and my instructor badly, with cars horning behind and stuff.
Think Im one of those who has problems in co-ordinating the clutch and accelerator, so decided to change immediately instead of going for another few more lessons to wait and see if got any improvements.
So I called up Lim Boon Seng driving services and Mr Lim himself answered. Told him my story and he said "Oh no worries, I had some students like you too"
Then asked how many lessons I've learnt previously and straightaway booked a 2hrs slot for my 1st lesson next week. Asked if he's going to be the instructor, he said no. He will assign a Mr Ng to me for the initial stages and only take over upon nearing TP date. He also said there's no fixed instructor per lesson but I can request for a fixed one though.
So this sets me wondering, no fixed instructor = no fixed car? Cant be learning on a different car under different instructor everytime right? And anyone currently learning from Lim Boon Seng driving services and especially under this Mr Ng, care to share on your experiences?
I have passed my BTT and FTT, anyone got recommendation for instructor for private Class 3?
Me at Jurong West area. Thanks
