anyone know whether $270 for Private TP too ex? (Consist of car rental, insurance, warm up)

Usually need how many hours of lesson for P3A?

IIRC insurance is around 150
warm up rate is the same charges as ur practical lesson
also need to include booking of circuit charges

u need to break up all the charges to see ex anot

i took 6hrs lesson then my PDI say i can book TP first, if i took less than 20hrs lesson then TP is too fast or slow?

it doesnt matter when to book TP
i booked mine before i took my first lesson
some people are fast learner, some are slower

Make sure u got enuff lesson n if u think u r a slow learner then go in a slow pace till u r confident enuff then take yr tp.

You may want to try out Lim Boon Seng Private School.

I juz passed my TP Test today in my 1st attempt. Kanna 10 points due to hit Kerb and 2 points for steering during stationary in parallel parking.

it is dangerous when the instructor goes on and on and i just steps harder on the accelerator because i dont want to talk back.

and any suggestions on what shoes should i wear to driving? ive tried barefoot and pumps but they arent very good to control the hold on the paddles. should i get canvas shoes instead? or actually it doesnt matter on what shoe u wear? my technique just sucks?

Personally I find barefoot gives me the best feel and control. Next is sneakers with thin soles.

However, sometimes driving with barefoot, you get cold with your feet. Will feel uncomfortable...

So what i do is usually drive with a favourite pair of shoes that i usually go for lesson and wear that to test.. its just a normal canvas shoes with reasonable sole thickness for me.

Now i passed, i do drive with barefoot if im wearing slipper.. the slippers are too hard to drive! keep dropping off! lol!

By the way using bare foot is best way to have feeling in th paddles. Aft u enuff trying on bare then u try wear a shoes with thin soles so that u can feel the paddles if u get a thicker sole then control of yr paddles will be bad then yr pdi nag yr shoes. Practise more on yr bare foot once got hang on it then try wearing a a shoe with thin sole as u wear the shoe hor yr foot must have the feeling tat is touching the paddles with the shoe. If not then shoes u wearing is too thick le. So u taking mt or at?

Anyone learning under SSDC private instructor can share how much additional charge you pay per circuit? I have had 2 circuits so far at $23 each, but my instructor will be charging me extra $5 from the next circuit onwards bcus he said the price increased?

Try getting a cheap pair of Converse shoes. Their soles are rather thin.
