Well, leonard90 recommended Mr Ong, who teaches Auto. Even though I didn't learn from him in the end, apparently (according to leonard90's gf), he's good. You might want to give him a try.

Mr Ong, from Regent Driving Centre, 98587573

Good luck! :)

Thanks! I'll take note of it.

many many thanks in advance and have a great day to all! :)

Mr Yeo only teaches at BBDC and he can speak English quite well. Tell him specifically that you can't speak Chinese.

Yes, you can. The important thing for Mr Yeo is your PDL. You have to show him your PDL when you meet him for the first time.

He's ok with students who haven't clr FTT yet.

You can go to Popular bookstore and buy the Mighty Minds 570 FTT Question and Answers. It cost $7. Read 2 times and the FTT will be a breeze.

I scored 50/50 and was out in 15 mins.

Alternatively if reading book can be boring and make you feel sleepy, maybe you could try aceonline for their FTT or BTT question too..

is there any expiry date on the FTT like if 1 learn driving more than 1-2 years, must she retake her FTT?

if the PDL is expired, can it be renewed at singpost or need to retake FTT?

FTT is valid for 2 years.

PDL can be renewed at Singpost.

PDL can be applied if you have passed BTT, since BTT has no expiry date, you can just renew your PDL if it has expired.

PDL is not affected by FTT in any way.

There's a queue system in place, where priority is given:

1. revision lessons for students whose TP test is coming soon.
2. have just booked TP test and still learning.
3. still learning and not advised to book TP test yet
4. newbies
5. haven't register as students

I think his schedule must be fully packed now, that why he sort of declining to take in new students so that he can concentrate on his current students and maintain his standard.

Its anyone's guess if he will still be as busy by the time you clr your FTT.

I encounter a somewhat similar situation as you, you can try this and see if it works:

1. Call him again and tell him that you know his schedule is very tight but you are willing to wait. Just ask him for the earliest slot available and see if you can fit in.

2. If he try to recommend his colleague (he did the same to me also, i decline), i think the name is Mr Lye, just decline and say that you prefer to learn only from him.

3. Mention that you are from hardwarezone and someone recommended him.

What timing slot are you getting? I went for 11am, traffic volume was moderate and as it was lunch time for BBDC instructors, there was very few cars in the circuit also.

Hope the infor helps. you can ask Mr Yeo for his advice on the timing slot also, he was the one who advise me to go for 11am.

Good luck!

so if FTT is expired after 2 years, even with valid PDL, also cannot take practical lessons?

anyone knows if SSDC woodlands circuit is tough or reasonable easy?
