Hi to all hwz people, i've just pass with 1st attempt at ssdc with 4points (MANUAL) only (gosh always screwing up and nervous during lesson) lucky and im so happy!

i would like recommend this pte instructor mr yeo(sembawang mrt) ( 9832 4786 ) recommended by my gf who got her license 6years ago.

i took total of 25 manual lesson with him ( 7 circuit training ) SSDC

mr yeo's pros :
do not use handphone while youre driving.
very patient.
taught everything needed to be learn.
dont scold at u even tho u do wrong ( i got scolded ONLY ONCE by him , but it was my fault deserved to get scolding, i was free-wheeling down the slope inside circuit training when next day is my tp )
he made me very relax, while im driving. we talk almost everything relating to work, even SOCCER( i help him place bets HAHA), overseas.
nice toyota car, always service his car. well taken care.

cons :
his lesson need to be book like almost 2week in advance.
his time slot always full.

he only pick up @ sembawang mrt and charged 32$/h

he is not those instructor that want u to fail and take lesson again.
before my tp, he kept reminding me almost all my weak spot and kept saying and saying the same thing and said that he do not wish to see me taking lesson with him again. i would like to thank mr yeo, without him i dont think ill able to pas my 1st attempt!

mr yeo @ 9832 4786

Have fun with him!

Regards,
Happy guy who just pass his tp!

Vios? I wonder would the car model u r trained with affect ur tp passing rate

Hi, i have a few questions. I attempted to get my driving license a few years ago. Stopped after getting my BTT. I called them up, apparently my BTT is still valid.

- If i wish to proceed with getting my license, my next step is to get a PDL correct?

- To book my FTT, do i have to engage a private driving instructor and do it through him/her?

- Any good private driving instructors to recommend (Tai Seng MRT or Yishun MRT)?

- What is a normal time frame to getting a license? Approximately how many lessons is required? Is it possible to get it by Jul 2015, assuming that i have cleared BTT?

Thanks.

Hi all, just passed my TP today during the 10.15am slot.
Would recommend my instructor below for those who're looking for PDI:

PDI: Mr. David Puan
Contact number: 9712 0290
Auto Car - Class 3A
Language spoken: Chinese (He speaks simple English as well)

Lessons taken: 18 (with 7 circuit lessons)
Cost: $1443
- $50 for enrollment fee
- $32/hr for Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
- $34/hr for weekdays after 5pm, weekends & PH
- $328 on TP day

Just sharing experience with my instructor. He's is a really Buddha person and he is not that kind of person that wouldn't cheat on your money by taking break and sleeping when you're driving.

He talks alot about Buddhism stuffs so if you're a christian or other religion do tell him. Although he will talk to you when you're driving, he's still very attentive and will step on the brake whenever he feels that you're not driving correctly or going to cause any danger to road user. But i feel comfortable with it because it helps me to multi-task.

He has good temper and won't scold me AT ALL! He will tell me patiently if I commit any mistakes. Don't hesitate to ask him questions too. He also constantly give me encouragement and tell me that I would definitely do well during my TP test.

He allows me to drive on the road immediately on my first lesson and also teaches me extra techniques like 3-point turn which is not required for our TP test. I remembered once when i ask him if i can go into circuit already after 5 lessons but he recommended me not to because he said circuit is expensive and he will teach me parking outside first so i won't waste time and money when i go into the circuit because in the circuit, you can only try each station once. In addition, he allows me to book my TP test after my first lesson with him so to reduce the waiting time.

This morning before my TP after my warm-up, he showed me to the room where people who passed their TP must watch the traffic police video and apply for my license because he was so confident that i can pass.

I feel that we all need this kind of instructor whom would encourage us instead of demoralize us. If you guys have any doubts please feel free to ask me questions :)

Hi, does he teaches manual and around north-east area?

CDC, i got two fixed instructor. One is good but another one is quite demoralising whenever I learn from him. so i'm thinking of changing to private if possible.

is his surname neo ? :s22:

anyway sounds like u signed up for oneteam. as the saying goes don't let one tree ruin the whole forest. you can either ask to switch to another team (means still 2 fixed instructors, but now different people) or switch back to the normal system (no more 2 fixed instructors) before deciding whether you want to change to private

nope his surname is koh. and yup i signed up for oneteam yea. hmm but I am kind of worried that I might be getting the same kind of instructor again. But anyway is there a way that I just get the another instructor number and fix lessons with him? does cdc allow their instructor to do so?

P.S sorry the surname is Loh.

u would have to ask them abt that.. the fixed instructor thingy. last time I think they had it but now not sure anymore.. but you have to pay a lot more also

as for oneteam changing.. can understand that.. maybe you can just try to change one more time then if you still get the same kind of instructor then change to private lor... cos even if you change to private you may also end up facing the same issue.. but I understand la, if you change too much teams in CDC, then sometimes bump into the old instructors you changed a bit awkward haha

Yeah haha i wanted to change team but if bump until old instructors the one i am ok with its quite awkward. Cause my current situation is also like that two instructors one say i can progress another one say i cannot progress he keep asking me to redo and its like both of their teaching style got conflict i am so confused thats why if i can just learn from that one instructor i wouldnt mind. And another one doesn't make me feel relax when driving a little bit of problem he use sarcastic word to say me and make me feel like i am so demoralised.
