5g $18 plan. But I’ve terminated already.
Switch over to eight $8 plan

You can wait for your Eight sim and test.
Alternative, you can connect your new 4G router to your existing wireless router.

lol ya, that’s what I did. So that my existing devices no impact

i have done it for the past 6 years, monthly usage 200-300gb, ie app 10gb per day
the past 6 months i never even use my spare SIMBA line
cos gomo got promo every month cant finish their free 300gb

Because i didn't encounter any throttling on giga 5G. I have inquired from giga cso they told me there is no throttling on 5g. On 4g yes

IMHO, TS make his life even more difficult after converting to "mobile broadband" after all the speed throttling by MVNO and even more throttling after exceeding a certain data within a day.

fixed broadband will never had this issue.. and it cost $31 at most per month for the lowest speed plan.

IMHO.
For some no issue - if i don't turn this notebook, I am always on mobile.

Update: first time encounter throttle by giga. I check the records seems like close to 10g for the day.

on my pc kanna throttled till 1.5mbps

today bought a eight mobile double eight plan ($8/mth with 228 local data)

Will update again if the plan is good.
So far the speed can match giga

so $8 > $18

Some bb plan got simi installation, 24 mths contract, early termination, this lah that lah…

to put things into perspective - even if one's main income is only 5k(excluding 17% employer cpf), $30 is only ~1 hour of one's pay.

fibre is so affordable, no need to be so miserable
