Use the Silver Passion Concession Card and take aircon buses from one hawker centre to another, go round to see the estate's shopping malls morning 9 am to evening 5 pm, like working.
Saw so many elderly couples go to JB area, la-kopi there. Or even to Genting play jackpot machines, enjoy the cool air there. Some elderlies join a popular travel agency and have become long term frens liao.
I still need another 10+ years to qualify for a silver concession card, but I'm hoping to find a reliable travel agency now. Take a few trips from now yearly with my wife. A cruise now and then.

Most important thing is find a hobby to do.

Can be anything. Meet new people in the hobby arena. Then your phone will continue to ring.

The only difference is now yr phone rings with something you like to do, instead of getting scolded by boss or colleagues

Worrying about how you'll spend your time in retirement is the first sign that you're not quite ready.

If you just work all day and don't engage yourself into some interests / hobbies, then maybe u should not retire.
I have not enough time to play after retirement at 48, too much hobbies. Hobby no need to be expensive one, i read, i cycle, do 3d printing (slightly expensive but nothing compare to things like photography and car)

Can share your 3D printing activities in the EDMW Retirement Thread? Interesting to know more about that.
