Yes its better. This card basically made youtrip card redundant. Unless you need a spare transport card.
From what I understand, Revolut charges for currency exchange outside Foreign exchange market hours.

For exchanges during these timings, would YouTrip be a better fuss-free solution?

On weekends (GMT+0), YouTrip rates are generally better (~0.25%), but there is still use case for Revolut for overseas ATM withdrawals, since YouTrip charges $5 but Revolut does not.

they are using visa rate or their own rate?
If comparing master and visa, master rate always better than visa.

Not so comfortable to sign up this credit card.

if you are not so comfortable then you got an option not to sign. afaik they only ask for your nric/passport to verify your identity (not a bot or something). the selfie is for them to match whichever you uploaded.

in fact, many online financial services all require either nric/passport too, mostly those overseas ones.

let me know if you require a referral, i can pm you mine. :s12:

I think during weekdays the diff are too small (Eg JB). Now prob have no choice but to use revolut since deposits is locked in.

last time revolut rates were better than yt for weekdays.

after yt went ahead to adjust their rates to match up, it seems like yt rates are better or similar to rev's everyday.

weekend revolut rates are consistently atrocious regardless because of their "0.5% mark up on major currencies, and 1.0% on other currencies."

Rev's Thai baht has 1.5% markup on weekends.

hope this helps. imo, this is all very troublesome to note and remember.

Has anyone used the revolut visa card to withdraw money in Japan? There were some people from other countries that revolut entered earlier who had issues or were charged during withdrawal
