I tried ocbc card and my top up limit is 500. Then I swap to standard charted they let my 3k go through

Think limit is set by algorithm with fraud detection system in revolut and card agnostic. Maybe its coz i topup 3k before and it triggered a review

Anyway just submit 3m payslip and declare annual income only..just abit troublesome but over long term if u want to move funds using revolut better do it

So maybe it's the type of cards that determine the top up limit?

Let's do a poll which card can top up more before kenna limit.

1. Citibank Visa 2k top up ok
2. StanChart 3k ok

How is payslip submitted? Whats their privacy policy on this?

hi! Can I check if I top up to revolut using Credit card, does it count towards credit card spend or miles?

Anyone has any idea how their SOF algorithm work? I'm travelling soon with revolut card and it'll be inconvenient if i have to submit necessary documents while in the midst of being overseas.

Want to avoid getting locked out, especially if cs support is only through app.

I’ve been doing $20 or $50 top ups whenever I need to. But today suddenly I just can’t anymore, keep saying something went wrong. Am I supposed to let the card “rest” and try again tomorrow? This is frustrating as it kinda defeats the purpose of using this as a go-to card

Is virtual card also free? I only applied physical card. Any use for the virtual one?

Funny. I have like AUD30 and SGD50 in the revolut wallet. Tried to charge AUD40 and I thought it will first clear out the AUD wallet before getting the remainder from SDG wallet. Turns out it deducted all from SGD wallet

This does not works like YouTrip, you can read up how the card works on Revolut. Each cards has their own ways of conversions.

"Funds are not taken from more than one currency balance at a time, so if there are no currency wallets with sufficient funds, the transaction will be declined. We will be adding more holding currencies soon, which you will be able to load onto your Revolut account and exchange to lock in a great rate."

Just use youtrip lor they more lax

I realised something. I transfered 5k using standchart today. When I try to transfer more using the same card it said I hit transfer limit.

So I changed to ocbc and I transfer another 2k in successfully. Meaning the limit is tied to the card not the revolut account
