Same here. Topped up yesterday via ApplePay, no fee (yet).

i have been topping up using apple pay but didn’t see any fees in the amount posted to my credit card. does this only affect topping up via credit card directly?

So I have written to Revolut directly instead of waiting. I got refunded instantly after talking to a second CSO. First one was a dumb bitch that say nothing to do with them and it was levied by my Bank and pushed the blame away.

Gave them a piece of my mind and was settled after that.

Now I have removed all my cards there and added a proxy - Google Pay instead.

I read that this not restricted to Singapore alone. On reddit it's affecting users worldwide. They said by going through a proxy Google pay or apple pay can avoid this issue as some others above me have pointed out.

Will monitor and see how it goes. If they continue to charge then it will be too much of a hassle. Just gonna close the account and fallback on Transfer Wise.

i used debit card to top up they straightaway give 2.8% under a new entry called "reward".

I used credit card and 2.8% of the top up amount is added as reward immediately. But the subsequent top up with a different credit card did not get the 2.8%.

If the banks are charging roughly 3% fees, shouldn't the reward refund be same instead of 2.8%? 0.2 loss

I got 2.8% for credit card from UOB but nothing for OCBC card. Will check the amount charged once posted by the banks.

need wait for your card transaction to clear (from pending) then will know.. usually, 2-3 working days later...
