before covid, read a lot about healthy diet etc

after covid, social media exploded

more app, more videos, everybody who post video presented their version of healthy diet and lifestyle

i lost weight, i exercised, i did the fasting 16-8

anyway, after covid high risk reduced and 3 jabs later, i'm at my heaviest

now, back to eating as per normal, local food mostly, controlling blood sugar by avoiding sweet food and drinks

already closer to end day, giving up setting diet goals

eat when food is available, fear that one-day too soon, maybe no food available

I mean eat more vegetables first to slow down/ buffer blood sugar spikes?
Today we cooked mexican burritos for lunch:
Buy multi grain wraps
Ingredients:
Cooked Minced beef & asparagus n add
Onions garlics salt n pepper

Chopped n diced & seasoned with olive oil, salt n pepper and Mexican chili sauce to make like sal
Broccoli
Red bell pepper
Celery
Mushrooms
Cherry tomatoes
Cucumber
Avocado
Carrots
Parsley
Tiny red radishes
Whatever veggies u would like to add
Grind nuts to add to wrap later

Lastly add cheese n toast it for a minute

Tis will be a good way to make kids lots of veggies

Actually I didn't really take Metformin after discharge hence the blood sugar is stuck at prediabetes level of 6+%

But at least it dropped from 9.8% in 2 months even without medicine

Now taking the medicine again because I want my BS to drop to 4.5 because it has been remaining at 6+% for a week liao

Hmm..my hba1c is 5.9% as at 5 Jun..

That is a multi grain wrap.
First lay the wrap with your desired lettuce:

Then put the minced meat cooked with asparagus and mixed with m cooked mashed beans.

Follow by the “salsa” and lastly cheesez

put the whole wrap with the ingredients to microwave for 1/2 a minute.

Recently bought a very expensive mixed nuts butter from scoop, $34 for a 500g bottle
Jiak a few spoons ,BS didn't raised much after that but spiked for another 2 data points the next morning, 2nd day already

Plus working morning shift and most breakfast are carbs loaded
Heng morning shift is just two weeks
It's ok, I don't care whatever bashing here as long as my method is right
