Gd lah, readings have improved significantly since last visit. Keep up the good work in staying healthy.
Thanks
Was a bit disappointed with the reading because that is a buffer of 20% (estimated A1C) and a buffer of 5% for daily readings

You forgot all the eggs you have eaten?
Yes but also can't rule out PB
I jiak like 8tbsp daily ,can't control
Better to remove it from my diet
What is PB? Peanut butter?
Yes
Bro stop, why are you eating these ****? This is self harm sia, your palate will thank you for eating plain and simple
For fish and chips, I only jiak the meat after removed the fried skins ,then jiak the wedges and coleslaw
Did anyone advise you to consume niacin for ASCVD? 3 big trials have shown no use thus the major associations have dropped their recommendations for it
Ok noted thanks
Will just take statins till got overall improvement
I believe as long as my diet remains with veggies, nuts, seafood and chicken (without PB for the time being), cholesterol levels will get better
Think u need to exercise too.
I not only walk 70mins a day, 6h a week but also stand most of the time
Work 8h, only get seated for an hour ,standing for 6.5h

Can you please enlighten me?
Because they are so tired from working that they don't exercise outside their working hours. When your body get used to standing/walking long hours, your metabolism will adjust to compensate. Same thing as why your weight loss journey will hit a plateau, and eventually start to balloon if you do not make adjustment in your diet or exercise.

Not entirely true. When one hits a plateau in his/her weight loss journey, its becoz the "set point" has kicked in (go read up and understand how the physiological set point works) and resisting further loss. So at this point, the key is NOT to adjustment food intake lower or increase exercise volume as the set point will resist even more. The key is to just enter a "cruising phase" for 8-10 weights to let the body adapt to the current physiology and weight, hence tricking the set point into taking on the current weight as the new point of reference, THEN you kick-start your next phase of weight loss. In the cruising phase, just continue doing / eating what you were doing during the weight loss phase previously.

Strong changes don't come in so fast one lah. You got your terrible state a few months back through years of unhealthy living a few short months of change isn't going to reverse that few years of damage. Making long-term sustainable changes (be it negative or positive) to health is like pouring a few drops of water into a bucket each time. The change is little by little, but overtime the bucket will fill up one.

Looks like I can't try IF for the next two weeks since antibiotics require me to consume twice a day

Yes…. they eat alot not because they are hungry… They eat alot becuase they can forget their stressful worklife…

慰劳一下自己 = Eat and Eat and Eat and Eat….. :ROFLMAO:

It is possible to have a high stress work environment with good health. It's all about managing the cortisol by maintaining healthy eating habits, efficient exercise routine and good quality sleep.

I work in a middle management position, have young kids to take care of and I still do not have the 3 highs.

Either diet in reduced calories or the nutrients of various nuts I jiak everyday (pine nuts in particular) brought my fasting blood sugar down

I saw the great improvement in my fasting BS recently, I got carried away and bought one bottle of amazin'grace almond PB 200g yesterday, my binge way of eating failed to change .....I finished up the whole bottle at late night 12+am

Shockingly, the FBS didn't affect a single bit though I know my LDL might have also increased
