Thanks. Is Basmati low GI rice friendly to kidney patient? Or they can only eat limited white rice?Brown rice has a lower glycemic index (GI) than white rice, which means that it is digested slower, having lesser effect on blood sugar.
Brown rice is good for diabetic but if your diabetic condition is out of control and has started to damage your kidney, meaning you are progressing through different stages of End Stage Kidney Disease, then you cannot take brown rice.
Fasting and control diet is not enough without exercise.

He won't die fast fast, his worst case scenario is kidney dialysis 4 hrs each, 3 times a week. Nevermind his wife can pay his monthly dialysis bill of approx $3000.
