Now that UOB and OCBC have come up with something, feels like it's only a matter of time for DBS/POSB to. Don't think these robo businesses can make any money (especially with the infrastructure costs) if they charge only sales charge. However, if they can charge 0.25% per annum or under, they're going to be able to undercut a lot of guys here.

OCBC wanna charge 1.5%....

Does smartly and autowealth dynamically adjusts AA or fixed all the way?

They do automatic adjustment (aka optimization) but it's optional and you can choose to opt out. I went to the talk at Wework the other day and asked the founder Freddie Lim that very same question. They do it even if you have the highest levels of aggressiveness. If the market goes down, they buy more bonds instead of stocks and vice versa.

Of course, until the market actually goes down, I'll have to take their word for it.

edit : referring to Stashaway only.

I don't think auto wealth and smartly has auto optimisation. Only stashaway offers this.

In smartly account management, there is no option to disable any optimisation and neither does the faq mention this feature

Anyway whats the feeling on stashaway, smartly and autowealth so far?

Btw i read on smartly faq if you pass away then your family can just open an acc and take over the holdings, something like that.
What about stashaway and autowealth?

Disclaimer. My name is Keir, Founder of Smartly. I really have one question why are we still talking about back-tested results if robo-advisors have been operational for over a year now in Singapore? I didn’t see anywhere in your article references to past years performances. I think it would be much more interesting for people to see how after all the talk and hype actual portfolios are performing, wouldn’t you agree? With back-testing you can show any result you want and I’m sure you are aware of that fact. Personally I have avoided to talk about returns since I don’t believe it should be the core focus or selling point for robo-advisors but it seems that there is no way around it. I’ll will be sharing my own review of real performances shortly, based on initial analysis AutoWealth seems to be best performing (just to make clear that I’m not here to promote Smartly but I am here to bring more transparency into the space and take a look at real numbers).

Regards,
Keir

Actually whatever advantage they bring is offset by the fees so compared to one who just buys and holds vwrd / iwda / eimi , the difference shouldnt be significant?
