here is an update of my syfe and stashaway investment.

Stash started at dec 2020
2k in 18% risk, now $2109, time weighted return is 5.46%
2k in 22% risk, now $2145, time weighted return is 7.29%

syfe started since Jan 2021
4k in equity100, now $$4459, time weighted return is 14.3%

i am thinking. for my future money. should i continue to pump into these, or buy world etf eg iwda/vwra

ya cannot compare directly - robos are more diversified to weather the ups and downs of economy. robos arent around for too long to make any meaningful comparison but I feel covid-19 gave a very good sense on how robos vs. own stock portfolio performed during the down market cycles.

Entry point also plays a part. My monthly dca to SA 30% simple returns is 10%. Started Mar 2020.

Been using both Stashaway and Syfe for some time now.

Jan-Dec 2020
SA: Used 36% risk portfolio. Got an avg of 15% returns.
Syfe: Used REITS & Global, Got an avg of 2% returns

Jan 2021 to now
SA: Used 36% risk portfolio, losing money since of the year, about 2% deficit today
Syfe: Used Equity100, been gradually earning, 8% returns currently.

Should I abandon SA and focus on Syfe? Is anybody using the same portfolio as me?

SYfe portfolio dashboard - do not reflect each individual ETFs/stks performances and returns. It only reflects the portfolio performance as a whole. (SYfe ask me to check on the respective ETF website on the performance.)

SA will show u instead,on their App

for SA and syfe, there seems to be no past charts to show the directions/price of the etf or bond that they purchase hor? i mean, i wouldnt know my entry price in this sense, whether im at all time high or low.

my friend invested in stash since dec 2020 still in negative. i am wondering is there anywhere we can see entry price.

Is there a way to set a standing instructions to transfer the funds directly to my portfolio instead of going to the Syfe Cash+ first?

Yes. For Syfe, far as I know, every portfolio has its own individual reference so you can transfer direct to the portfolio.

I think for SA you transfer to your account before they distribute based on standing orders. I prefer SA's way myself rather than having multiple different transfer orders for each Syfe portfolio...

I am looking at Syfe100 to pump in all my extra monies / leftover every month, because I ownself invest stock quite noob.
Would like to know from the other users here what should I take note of or research into first? I planning to put like $1k or $2k /mth, not sure if this is advisable.
