Extended side crush might interfere with the main wheel. Most of them are already brushing into the wheel. If you need better corner sweeping, probably upgrade to one with extendable arm.

Is there? I saw latest V15 is also base on round mop pad. Omni S1 is best at mopping hard floor, but doesn't perform as well in carpet or sweeping tho.

Maybe in future.

The cordless W&D vacuum is cheaper and I like to see the level of cleanliness.

If not clean, most likely all the robots will fail my standard.

I am used to the traditional way of mopping.

hi, dont think its for that purpose only.

also not apple-to-apple to compare a handheld with a robot. i must say if you are not happy if a handheld steam cleaner, i dont think any robot in the market can do better than that.

Regarding the detergent, I have read on reddit.

Even dreame support cannot confirm detergent is for mopping.

Someone tore down the dreame. No tube connection from detergent tank to robot.

Honestly, it was an impulsive buy.

Saw the promo and reviews only.

Then I clicked buy. lol

Regarding the detergent, I have read on reddit.

Even dreame support cannot confirm detergent is for mopping.

Someone tore down the dreame. No tube connection from detergent tank to robot.

1) Detergent tank to regularly dose clean water tank after X uses, and the clean water tank is used to top up the mini water tank in the robot
2) Base station prewets the mopping cloth by pumping from detergent tank and clean water tank simultaneously at base station. Mini water tank in robot contains only clean water, so mopping cloth contains progressively less and less detergent within 1 run.

I think it's probably one of these 2 methods.

You mean the groove in between the hardwood flooring? Maybe can suck up the dirt.

My house is all tiles so unable to test and verify for hardword flooring.

In between my decking got this gap. And also balcony sliding door. Very troublesome

Balcony sliding door use vaccum with those narrow nozzle to clean better.

Wet Dry vaccum for flat surface only.

This 1 small space of the whole house.

No robot can reach. Even human manual mop also cannot reach.

I made a terrible mistake by buying Ecovac. Initially ok but not spectacular. Then on and off it starts to lose wifi connection. Then on and off the speech recognition have issue. Then subsequently wifi totally cannot work. Then take back can connect for 1-2 days then spoil again. Then bring back again to listen to those clowns asking whether you know how to reset, or know how to connect to 2.4ghz band,

The first time I send in for repair (during off peak), can see 1-2 clients all streaming in. 2nd time went there, more ppl are there with their robot. This ** brand, send in 2-3 times don’t know waste how much of time and petrol.

I told myself no need to be smart Alec and just stick to Roborock or Dreame

Of course lah, you go to a service center you expect to see some people.

If no people, it can also mean no buyer at all.

Number of people at service center does not imply quality.

By the way for Wifi issue, could it be your router ? Did you try to verify with another network ?

First time I sent down, they say same thing as you. Then wife said they change wifi module. After that briefly connected and then spoil again. My wife is banker not engineer. But if my washing machine, smart light, lock, fan, tv, dishwasher all can connect, cannot be my wifi issue right? Elvin Tay also not engineer trained but i think simple logic I also can understand.

I see a few new models broke down lei. Like T30 omni, another one flagship x series I think. My ex roborock 4 years retire in glory. Backside itchy, now I do housework myself.

roborock is a good work horse (chose roborock vs dreame arnd 2 yrs back) . now trying dreame.
both working happily .

if you like roborock, go see see dreame, its intelligence will wow you.
