oh? how do you keep track of the units that has been taken and which unit so far has been taken?

You have to see from the Flat list, red color indicates unit is already booked.
You check the area that you interested, if no red color then it's still available, no quick way to check all

If my number is around 7XX and I'm looking at Bidadari 4RM, not much chance right?

Got about 37 units available..

Pretty sure there’s a gd chance u might get a unit, if u don’t mind low floor.

Oh, I thought no hope already. I am okay with almost every floor available tbh. I did notice that the highest one (9th) is gone anyways.

Was thinking that I would have to drop/reject and waste 1 chance.. just wanted to have a feel for how competitive it is as its my first time trying ROF

If you're ok with any floor then why bother with this ROF ballot anyway... Is it because of the race quota? Because open booking flat still have plenty of flat in that area, but all is low floor... But the good thing is that they are already available next year, you don't need to wait 3,4 years later

Mostly its 3rd / 4th floor and higher (ROF) as compared to Open booking where its all 1st or 2nd floor for the same estate.

But yeah it also cause of the timing of the flats and race quota!

Ideally, I would prefer 4th and above but I guess with the queue number that big, I'll take what I have over rejecting units

If you check carefully, 4th floor in certain blocks is like 1st floor in other blocks, as there are no units in the first 3 floors. And if you follow other threads from previous bto thread, some people don't really like to choose number 4 as their floor :d
All these ROF flats is still here for a reason :)

Oh wow I didn't really look into that tbh. I always thought that most will be 2-4th floors in general. But yeah I guess when/if I actually get a call down, I'll do more research.

Yeah I do know about the effect on numbers :) I guess I'm at the stage that I'm not that picky over such things haha.

Actually if you have no preference on floor level & require a flat that is ready, Open ROF has 4rm units that are ready 4Q2019, which is anytime soon.

I went for ROF because it fit my timeline better. Don't need a flat too early like 4Q 2019 :). Was hoping for something within 2-3 years.

Just called to check.. Up till now, queue number is up to 37 only!!!!
Ya, that's expected. There's a member here with queue number very small, 13x but his appointment date is 4th Nov... From 15th Oct to 4th Nov, if you count the number of work days, it's around 14days. So roughly it's around 10-12 numbers/day.

That's why I was saying this time it's much slower than Feb ROF. That time HDB was serving like 30-50 numbers/day. Maybe because this time it comes with the backlog from May SBF, so it's slower than usual
