Ya, that's expected. There's a member here with queue number very small, 13x but his appointment date is 4th Nov... From 15th Oct to 4th Nov, if you count the number of work days, it's around 14days. So roughly it's around 10-12 numbers/day.
That's why I was saying this time it's much slower than Feb ROF. That time HDB was serving like 30-50 numbers/day. Maybe because this time it comes with the backlog from May SBF, so it's slower than usual

My number is 900+... At this rate, think I have to wait till 2020!

Lol ya, I think that might be a right estimate =d.
If each working day serve 10-12, then your turn might be 90 days or 3 months later.

Anyway, if there's a lot of drop out, you can expect to receive your appointment date to be earlier :)

My number is 800+, same same, 2020...

Just to check, hows flat leased during 1970s, is it good to choose?

I didn't know it would take that long. my number is 700+ and I was thinking it could clear before the November BTO opens.

Just wanted to check, if ppl ' reject ' the appt, they are throwing away 1 chance right? And once u throw away 2 chances you become 2nd timer for a year?

Cause I suspect I might be forced to reject if Bidadari is gone by my number...

This has been asked multiple times before. Your chance is not affected if it's ROF. It's because flats offered during ROF exercises is limited and usually not that great (people referred to it as flats that nobody wants for 2 times 😂, it's left over flats after BTO exercises, then roll over to SBF, then roll over to ROF).

That's why it's meant more for people that couldn't wait, if can wait, then it's better to apply for BTO or SBF, you will get more and better choices.

So looking at the expensive price tag and long completion date of bidadari, I'm pretty sure there will still be left over flats for that area even after this ROF exercise. It will then appear inside open ROF booking like those in Alkaff.

No, I don't think you catch what I mean. I meant for a first timer if you get a queue number and you reject it would be counted as 1 rejection right? So if i end up rejecting because Bidadari 4 RM is gone (and that was my only aim in this ROF), it means that for a year if I reject again I would end up as 2nd timer for a year no?

I understand the logic of ROF. Maybe I should not have used the word chance but rejection instead if it makes things clearer.

Some flats are already 40-50 years old , is it good to choose? How's the condition? Anyone can advise? Like blk 167 Stirling Road, leased 1971.

I know what you meant, and have answered it. You can call HDB to confirm, it's already confirmed by multiple person including me. ROF forfeit won't affect your chance stack and 1st timer status. E.g, if you reject your ROF chance for 1000 times you are still 1st timer with 1st timer chance remain the same.

Photos of that unit are available on the hdb ROF site. Click the block no and stroll all the way down to the unit no and you’ll find pics.

I suggest you made a trip to the place to see the condition of the place. Nothing beats a site visit

Okay thanks for the clarification. I'm still quite new to this so sorry about the questions. So based on your answer I guess ROF rejection doesn't work the same way as a normal BTO and SBF rejection.

That's ok, everyone has that same question. And ya, I called up HDB to ask them before, reason is because of the limited supply for ROF flats like I explained previously. So yes, it is different from bto,sbf

Thanks once again :) I guess now I can actually look at applying for the Nov / Feb BTO exercise without the fear of potential rejection to worry about :) I did take a look at the HDB website last night and it did say the rejection comes into play for BTO / SBF so it does make sense because on the limited supply

Thanks for the update! I guess 700+ maybe EOY or next year le :/

Just checked hdb portal, the difference between Units Offered and Units Available
for Selection is 17.

How often is this portal updated? From 1st day of selection till today, how many numbers have been called? Looks like no much called numbers took up units. My number is 800+, really hope can take up one 3 room this time.

U should be able to , besides 3 room is less popular as compared to 4 room units. Which estate are you looking at ?
