consoling myself that it has the asus premium brand name :(
You actually spent a pretty worth it 100 bucks. If I am not wrong zotac do not have vapour chamber on their cooler while tuf have it and you get 2 HDMI 2.1 port which zotac do not have.

Interesting that the TUF has a second HDMI port that all other brands don’t on the 4070 Ti.

Also the steel plate wont oxide over the time.

Others1 can turn to rusty.

TUF model also has stainless steel port plate? All the while I was under the impression that only their top strix model has that.

:(

Another one.. this is a sign already. Last year already we started to see a trend of titles eating up more ram n vram.

2023 better don't buy cards with only 8GB VRAM. Don't buy that $800 RTX 3070 LOL.

Setting up a new rig to replace my 5900X setup. Wanted to replace only 3080ti initially then the thought of the 4090 might be bottleneck by 5900X so might as well overhaul whole rig. Parts all arrived except one of the Corsair Dominator kit.

Intel 13900K
Asus Z790 Maximus Hero
Asus 4090 RTX Strix
Corsair Dominator DDR5 64GB (32gb kit X2)
Western Digital SN850X 2TB X2
Western Digital SN770 2TB X1 (recycled parts)
Samsung 850 Evo 2TB X2 (recycled parts)
Asus Thor 1200W Platinum II
Asus Ryuo III 360 AIO
Lian Li Dynamic Evo
Lian Li SL120 Infinity X10

Nice. You gaming on 4k? If not I feel 4070ti will be good enough for 1440P.

Was thinking to recycle my Silverstone SX1000 from my previous O11 Mini build. But decided to play safe and go for Asus Thor 1200W.
