Good to know the stability issues are gone. I feel this is where AMD needs to buck up because both hardware and software needs to work well in order to attract people to their hardware. With more $$$ in their coffer, they really should invest more budget and resources to improving their drivers and firmware.

By the way, does FreeSync work with Display Port? My impression is that it works only on HDMI, while G-Sync only works on DP.


But for Linux, I heard that use AMD better.

I am not very close to Linux, so not too sure about it. But considering Microsoft holds the lion's share in terms of gaming market, it is not ideal if they can't provide their customer with a stable driver. I don't expect a flawless driver, since that is not possible. But the very least it should not be crashing that often as I read from here.
