RX480 Driver keep crashing.

but weird thing is, i get same score when i clock 1330 vs clock 1350.

btw, driver still crash even when stock, so i believe its not oc problem.

High chance it is a lemon card. When it crash, does it force a auto restart? Freeze screen? Pixels?

it will like tear a bit then grey screen. then i must force power off and reboot.

Tried contacting the distro? Might be a bad unit.


On the OC part if you OC and get the same score, power throttling. If your power limits and voltage are peaked, you can't push it further anymore but to dial down the settings.

ic. thanks haha, never oc gpu b4, only cpu. First time buy reference, always buy aft market oc'ed design and never play with the clock speed. i cannot oc my memory to 2200mhz also, even though everyone can. it will crash no matter what voltage i put, even 2200mhz running at 1050mV. best stable one is 2100mhz at 970mV
