You mean like the surface is more firm and taut instead of being rubbery?

Those rubbery surface type are called gel screen protector in the pass. Gel will create writing marks on the surface especially with the spen.

Finally using my free silicon case from Samsung. Not as grippy as I thought but still better than my previous hard back transparent no brand case.

Protection is really minimal. Individual cutoff for cameras are sleek. Free ok la, but I won't purchase it
