Hey, wonder if any of you guys know the solution to my problem...

My Notification Icons are disappearing one by one (At least only the default icons). So far the LAN/Internet connection notification icon and the Windows Sound Manager icon have done away with themselves.

This isn't threatening (At least I hope so) but it is quite irritating because I have to manually bring up the individual programs.

Does anyone know how to restore these icons? Thanks!

show the inactive icons?
from what i know...these notification icons must be altered either from registry or running programs...
do you alter some system changes recently?

Nope, no altering at all. Only defragmenting and I think a system image restore due to repairs.

system restore ..windows?
well....windows restore never restore your files completely...thats why your icons in taskbar are disappearing...
it is better to use other imaging software if you really want to revert back to previous time incase your system got problem...
i can recommend acronis true image or macrium reflect...
