hey everyone. I'm contemplating getting a sager 2098 from cubehub for uni.

was just looking through the list of upgrades and am contemplating the following.
upgrade to p8700. i'm not into intel processors so i'm wondering if its a good idea to switch to that processor since it uses a newer tech and possibly lower power?

whether to get a 7200 or 5400rpm hdd.

also. for the vista to win7 o/s, does it mean i will get an upgrade disc (not bootable) when win 7 arrives?

lastly. is turbo mem useful?

not so sure for P8700..but better got for P9XXX....looks promising..

5400rpm hdds are good but if you demand much more performance can go for 7200rpm

win7 they said you must install vista then can upgrade....cannot directly win7 but im not sure about this..

turbo memory..some said useful...others not..i believe the performance increase is not that special compare to the price

the customer service for this sgcubehub is not really efficient. Even though previously a guy told me they will alias with me the delivery date, however, I have to personally call them to let them know the delivery date

well i just hope nothing goes wrong with this deal

Hi

We will only call customers and confirm the delivery date n time once the tracking no was out and it arrive here. We cant promise the date to customers when tracking no was not out so we dont call when not ready.

If you made a call to check the delivery date, we can only estimate the date but not the time.

Hope you understand the system by now.

Cheers

For us, delivery date depends on the brand/model and configuration you pick. You need to ask so that we know you can have it immediately.

Hey guys, for purchases to mucro or cube, is the price you pay the one you configured online? Or is that the best price? Will it be cheaper if you make your purchase thru phone or talk to the staff for a quote?
