Tried the camera at Chinatown samsung shop. Like not as sharp and clear as S6. Really suffer because of lack of image stabilizer. Like the previous A7....

doesn't say anything about the chip set leh :s22:

Chipset is Exynos 5430 ya. Same as Galaxy Alpha. big LITTLE octa-core CPU, 4 cores of 1.8GHz Cortex-A15 4 cores of 1.3GHz Cortex-A7. Handling graphics is the Mali-T628 MP6 GPU. It's 32bit.

Eh, what I understand from this is that both sim support 4G+, but only the slot you choose will get 4G+, and the other will be 2G only? If not I'm not sure why they will include the word "chosen" in their press release. But I can't confirm since I don't have the phone.

Mi Note both slot support 4G, but is Dual SIM dual standby anyway. So only one slot can use 4G at any given time if i'm not mistaken.

edit: http://gsminsider.com/2015/07/samsu...gapore-specifications-availability-and-price/
other sites saying 1 sim 4g, the other 2g only too. :( So i guess it isn't dual sim standby after all, bummer.

If it's true that both sim can do 4G (select one), then it serves my purpose and will choose this over mi-note (due to convenience with finger print scanning).

How to confirm? samsung.com/sg does not have this product up there yet.

Both slots will do 4G, you can select via software. Samsung grand 2 dual sim already has this software feature, and it was launched 2 years ago. But if you have 2 sims sitting inside, then 1 slot is 4G data and the other is 2G voice only (You choose via software). By 2017 Apr, you can only have 1 slot working at 4G (or 3G), and the other slot no use since 2G will be obsolete then.

Thanks AMAT. Hmmm... looks like a good choice for me!l when im in singapore i can use the 2nd sim for micro sd

I just checked with a Samsung store staff and was told the same too. That both slot supports 4G+, just one at a time. But anyone here already using the phone and can confirm?

Wondering how is the A8 battery life. Tempted to buy N5 but saw the battery life sucks. A8 could be a good alternative but would like to know how long the battery can last?
Thanks.

Just got mine a few days ago. So far battery life is comparable to Note 4. It's pretty good, It definitely last more than a day for normal use for me. I'm quite happy to choose this one.
