few other doubts,

i got a cylindrical pyramid style antenna kinda thing in the box..what is that for??

and i got message from starhub to reply for gps/mms settings. the message gets stuck at sending after i reply to that number? but when i send by creating a new message to another person, it went perfectly...anyway we can see the number of starhub message that i have to reply to??

any1 here encounter issues when connecting to the latest version of KIES, 1.5.1.10074_45. If right click on tray icon says 1.5.0.80

Previously managed to connect to KIES. (after upgrading it as the one on the samsung sg website doesnt connect the device). Was prompted to upgrade this time round, but phone failed to get recognized again.

i got the phone with I8520DXJI1...so far no crashes or no lags...very smooth...can't really tell the difference with iphone smoothness....

abt kies, it works fine for me....have it on my vista home pc and xp office pc...maybe kies bit bad with windows 7 or other os....

believe android is like windows, excellent OS when used as it is without installing any third party appss...but anything installed like even antivirus may screw the system up...i usually don't install anything to do with system files unless i really need it.....games and multimedia files only for the time being...

well i got only 3 screens and not much application shortcuts on it..i use live wallpaper also....i felt it was quite smooth...ok lets leave iphone as the smoothest touch screen....for me didn't notice any difference to complain or worry abt...

any unique ideas to do with the projector...maybe we should start a new thread...

I want to update to JI1 via kies but I only managed to successfully connected to kies once and never able to connect after.Kies suck!

well KIES and the ALLShare(Video sharing crashes the application) do not work for me. This will be my last samsung phone if froyo doesnt come to beam soon.

juz wanted to comment, user experience on my wife's iphone 4 is good even thou it is our first iphone.

samsung folk told me go to samsung service center or update via kies.but from what I see from kies in my pc,H1 is latest version.So got to go service center to update.
Froyo for beam is not confirm yet...meaning beam might not be able to update to froyo

samsung apps in kies shd be for samsung wave only.
u can get almost everything from market.

just realized, u have to launch Kies first and then unlock the phone and then connect the phone to pc. then kies recognizes phone...stupid bug...( provided u had already set in the phone, Kies as the connection mode)
