Samsung Beam?

do you know what are the parts that changed? is it the projector or motherboard?

oh..conclusion is not the projector bulb that spoil but it's the chip on the sub-motherboard that causing the problem.I'm wondering does this problem cause by overheating or overclocking

the dots are back..theres 10 dots.. not too noticable but they're there

My Beam gets really hot in the car when using as a navman and I dont have any dots. I have not overclocked the cpu, so maybe its the overclocking?

Ok,those dots are actually dead pixels,I know this from samsung stuffs.

My story:
I sent in my BEAM for repair on last week ,I got it back from free delivery on Monday.
I tested it right after I got it and the projector was perfectly fine.
However,I tested it again few hours later ,dead pixels are back and worst than before.
Now,they collected BEAM back from me after I complain to them.
I'm not sure what is the cause of dead pixels because I didn't do anything risky or special(no rooting or over clocking) .I'm just installing all my apps back during the few hours.
Sigh..I really hate it when the phone is not with me.I'm using my old SE k800 now.

I can answer for you right now. The Beam won't be getting an update.

Too many spots while projecting... given for repairs for the 2nd time & overall 4th time in 8 months.... warranty period expiration is too close... if the projector problem comes again, i am going to blast out at Samsung officials.... this is my last samsung product... no more samsung products for me.... atleast they should acknowledge the manufacturing defects & give a 1 to 1 replacement. (maybe some other phone).

i got such issue when i recieved from starhub the lst day i got the phone. It was a dot on the projection. later send in to starhub svc ctr they change the whole board and on the spot i found the spot not been rectify so demanded them to change again. this time round was ok, no spot been observed.

recently found that there are even more light spots on the projection, so i really fedups also....so just sold away the phone!!! now i am using a cheaper version of galaxy s call galaxy ace...

That is solution for screen.. but i tried it anyway and it doesn't work for this problem

very few people using beam already yeah but for those who have upgraded your firmware, has the blurry photo problems been resolved?

projecting white dot now and sammi had no more parts to repair. offer sgs as replacement but had to wait for 2-3 week. counting down...
