I changed over to Samsung a54 from my old Xiaomi note 10 pro. A close competitor was the newer poco f5.
But, just think about it. After 2 years of using the poco, there are no more security updates. Is that something u can really live with, especially in this age of scams targeting Android phones?

poco phones on paper look very good when use alot of problems well understandable when come to the price they are offering .. even indian customer also hiam poco and moving away from the brand .. customer prefer a sku that good price and reasonable specs .. not good price .. super specs .. but everything else epic fail..

Forget to add is that .. alot of Chinese brands phone at these price tags .. the phone itself serve you ads ... ie when you search bar.. the search ar already serve you ads .. you download apps from play store .. there's a secondary app that serve you ads ...

security update have very minimal impact on most of the scam case. Most people change phone after 2-3 years of use, that is when most batteries start to degrade significantly. A54 price is really competitive at current moment tho.

Midrangers has truly came a long way, more so especially for Samsung phones, where midrangers are once really just, not-a-good-performance phone and lacks alot of things compared to flagships, but in recent years, the A Series really provides about 60%-70% of overall flagship performances without the price tag of a flagship, and that's pretty remarkable.

Discovered Google Play system update wasn't auto updates by itself.
After performing several manual update than finally get to July.

Yes. I used it while I handed over my flip 3 to ah beng song to inspect and analyse the cost that will incur if I were to go ahead with repair.

After restart, your phone will be like new phone without anything preloaded. To revert, go back same settings and restart and authenticate with your fingerprint.

Yeah! Samsung firmware update is frequent and timely.

That's why I like Samsung phone now! No no to other Android powered phones.

A54 seems to be religiously receiving monthly security updates. Poor A34 doesn't get the same treatment though, more like once every 2-3 months.

No choice. Older devices are always drop from the priority list.
