Don't think it's worth it. I scratched my screen with my nail very deep on the 2nd day of ownership. I left it like that for 2 months before I went to Samsung for a different issue. The screen coating was wearing off the screen. I claimed that under warranty luckily

This one can claim? I also think i kena screen coating wear off. Like when u wipe w damp cloth, can see the "wear off" mark.

wait until warranty going to finish then do the replacement
who knows you go accidently scratch again or something.

yesterday I just cut my nails, quite long already so scared later use liao scratch the screen. used 2 weeks already only the screen protector got scratches and bubbles due to casing, changed from thin case to UAG case other than that looks ok. inside got no scratch.

Yes that's what I have, I didn't know can claim either I just tried my luck. Although I went in for tightening my hinge I at the same time just asked anyway if they can claim warranty for the screen. I wasn't really expecting them to say yes.

Actually it does work pretty well, there is a indent on the fingerprint sensor area, making it easier to locate just by touch alone.

The case seems good but the finger print may not work well

I using UAG case

I have no idea how the coating wore off. Like it didn't happen when I was doing something. Just one day I was cleaning the screen noticed 3 spots where the coating came off.

Till today I can't figure out why it happened. This new screen has been perfect though although I have never ever wiped it down since I got the screen replaced so I have no idea if I have any scratches or coating issue all I see is fingerprints hahaha

Is it advisable to wipe the interior screen with moisture? Like the normal screen wipes?

Update.. i got the screen replaced. They replaced the lcd, the screen, the hinge, new batts and charging port. I think the housing also new (cant tell). Lol...

Phone now like new. But i think another week or month, the scratches will come back. Hinge feels tighter but then also w only last a while. Haha
