Edit - As to where I had gotten mine, I ordered it direct from UAG last year at the launch of the case. I was among first few here to get the case....

Thought of getting a Fold. My only worry is the plastic screen on the inside. Any good screen protector to recommend? Is it easy to peel off?

This suddenly appeared out of the blue. Is it a dead pixel ? The concierge guy is coming to my house to pick it up to assess. Is the screen replacement chargeable ? Still under warranty

Very easy to apply. I have done it to both fold that I have. There is also front and back too. Total normally is 3 pcs per set.

In about 4 months and it will be a year that the Galaxy Fold was launched in Singapore
September 18 2019 to be exact

Just wondering whether your Fold warranty is the standard 1 year warranty?

I bought my fold around Oct 2019 and was checking the warranty on Samsung SG online.
Was surprised to see my warranty being extended till end of Dec 2020 which is awesome

Are you guys planning to do a screen replacement and repair before the warranty ends?
Samsung Z Premier services charges $200 based on their portal (last access May 2020)

Both my front and inner screens were replaced, first the inner screen was replaced due to some sort of wear on lower right corner, then after a couple of days, the front screen had a single vertical line that wouldn't go away after reset. Both times, the concierge came and took away the phone, and returned the phone each time after two to three days. No charge was levied against me as covered by warranty.

Still alright but it can get kinda sian when you buy full price

And Samsung or Retailers run Fold promotion (e.g. Cash Back , Freebies ) that make you question yourself why so garang in buying so early

Got lah, just not that many. I was using my Fold at a corner makan place when one guy came up to me and asked about the case I was using (UAG Monarch Fold) and I told him, seemed he wanted to get the case as well.

Unlike you I could not get used to the jelly scrolling, small outer screen and its thickness when folded I quickly sold off a few weeks after purchase.

Now I jump to Mate XS and it is truly superior in nearly every aspects except gms (can be sideloaded) and screen brightness.

Will hold on to Mate XS until Mate XS 2
