Guys, just took out my cover today to clean the phone, realize my phone hinges are pretty loose. The two halves got slight play, can feel movement when closed. I bought the phone since launch. Just curious if anyone else affected in the same way. Wondering if can claim warranty.

How to know the hinge is loose? Got the plank sound?

September 18 2019 to be exact

Just wondering whether your Fold warranty is the standard 1 year warranty?

I bought my fold around Oct 2019 and was checking the warranty on Samsung SG online.
Was surprised to see my warranty being extended till end of Dec 2020 which is awesome

Are you guys planning to do a screen replacement and repair before the warranty ends?
Samsung Z Premier services charges $200 based on their portal (last access May 2020)

Normally I keep my fold open as much as possible
Like at home and in office so that the phone is closed less

Guess it doesn't deteriorate the hinge so fast

Come to think of it... whether you buy the phone or gotten it after a repair from Samsung.... The phone is always opened instead of closed
