Installed Samung Kies tried to back up my existing phone settings but sync for over 2hrs witb 0% completed. Tried export also same.
I nevertheless tried to reset phone to factory setting in any case since I thought it could delete the preinstalled bloat wares but it didnt.
I then tried to use Kies to sync my outlook to N2 but also can't.
Usb setting is correct but I am unsure why I am facing such an issue

Might wanna try a few others like airdroid, double twist etc. Heard Kies not working well!

Hi guys, I've been using my note2 since last friday and i've noticed that my Note2 "drops" its data connection if its not doing anything.

i.e everything on wifi is fast. but when it comes to data over cellular, it takes time to "wake up". i.e facebook or twitter or whatever app is refreshing, but u dont get the icon on the status bar to tell me that data is being downloaded. Only after a few refreshes do the icons come on and things start working.

Any of you facing the same symptoms? It was like that before OTA update and after OTA update, still exhibiting the same symptoms.

I have flash player installed and can watch. In browser, just select Desktop View by pressing Note 2's menu button and access xinmsn.

it works on contacts and such but not during web surfing rite..? and even surf facebook, cant do e double tap to top thingy rite?

No luck with default browser, only can do it with Chrome.Care to share what browser u r using?

anyone knows for phone settings, is there anyway we can only view logs for calls only?
I noticed it shows everything including incoming and outgoing SMS which i am not interested. Tried view by all calls only, but it is only for that once, not permanent.

anyway to have it permanently only for view by all calls?

i tried too...doesn't work too...i walked all e way to my kitchen toilet oso cant get it to work..

for me it works ar... walked from my room to the kitchen... give off an alert that the pen is detached from note.

Is there a way we can do to allow the stock video player to play rmvb files?
I know using another app will do the job but i like the airview of the video playback... which i dun think other apps allow... anyone knows?

Hi, I have also just migrate from fruit to Android and I need some advise. One thing that bugs me is, is there any settings on N2, that will show a pop up notification whenever you have an incoming whatsapp or SMS...? Or maybe it's just me that's not used to it.. Currently only the blue LED light is blinking as notification...

You can change the LED color to another color for Whatapps... just go into Whatapps->settings->notification and you can change the colors... for sms i think cannot change color...
