I asked a lot of people this question and even at eh Samsung shop. Why the default email app of note 2 is alwasy so dim? I tried K9 and it is fine. Just that it has the exchange setup issue with my company email.

I notice it is onlybthe email app is dim. All other app and screen are fine

home button to wake has been a feature on all samsung phones before this bug that only became present in jellybean. i shouldn't have to change my usual routine cos of a bug.

How do you know if this is supposed to be a bug or a feature? Maybe Samsung or (Jellybean?) has this feature whereby you can choose to either use the Home or Power button to turn the screen back on? The former brings you back to home screen and turns on the screen at the same time while the latter turns on the screen only. And..... Really.. It's just a matter of changing the button to press... Not really a radical change isn't it? Noted someone in the thread links that you've posted mentioned that S voice may be the culprit behind this so-called bug. Have you tried his suggestion?

Anyway on a related note, I noticed that sometimes when I use the power button to turn off my screen, after 1-2secs later, the screen turns back on again automatically on its own. Happened quite a few times Already. Anyone with the same experience?

Yesterday form lai liao
decided to root my GN2

here is what i have done..

firstly root da damn phone and install CWM recovery

secondly successfully swap 32gb extsd sandisk ultra card with internal. now my device memory is my 32gb extsd.
playstore installation works but third party apk cannot install, however can be downloaded. you have to move the downloaded apk from internal sd to the extsd as extsd has now becomes the main storage. plus only root explorer can see the downloaded apk (EDIT : solve by comparing the permission ...now third party apk download location working as per intended)
camera picture tested save to extsd card yippie..
was kancheong the picture taken will go elsewhere bo..but luckily all is good.
erased my internal storage and left about 9gb plus free which aptly rename as sd card

thirdly the most wanted application i wish for google map navigation in Singapore

Anyone got problem with watching videos?
Was watching a video for about 30 min, then my note 2 went into samsung logo, then load back again. Happened twice, once in youtube and once when watching using MxPlayer.

does anyone know a good app to keep track of tv programme? Previously i have a good app called tvguide@sg in iphone. But can't seem to find the same app in android. Can someone recommend a similar one?

I use the app "Starhub Guide"; only using it for mediacorp channels. I do not have starhub channels. Too bad, it does not have notification feature.

Email Syn

Hi guys!!

Need some help here, would anyone be able to advise how i can syn my email events to my note 2 calendar?? Last time was a fruit user so now still learning.

When was fruit phone, any emails with events created when I accept the emails cum event, the event will be automatically created in my calendar.

Some is there anyway of setting the phone to create a event in my calendar when i accept the email event.

anyone encounter after the latest firmware update, signal always change to G instead of 3G oR H+

Just to add, the little pencil icon on the top left corner is also missing when the S Pen is removed. Anyone knows what's the problem? Thks!

argh this phone is ANNOYING.. when the screen blank out, i normally press the home button like i normally did on my S2 to just wake the screen..

on the note 2, when i press home to wake the screen, it wakes the screen + takes me to the home screen. zzzzzz

anyone knows how to make it just wake the screen? driving me nuts.

Its firmware related most of the time.. not only you, google nexus 7 also has such problem reported..

i have a black line across my screen, but when i SS and send to my friend m their phone don show the line~!
