With the New update oneUI 3.0, it takes 2 seconds from 120hz to 60hz. Previously was 5 seconds
Just sharing my experiences...

Just gotten myself a note 20 ultra.
Was deciding between the note 20 ultra or the s21 ultra.

Tested both sets at Harvey Normal, the s21 ultra felt like a brick sia compared to note 20 ultra.

Looks wise the note 20 ultra with its signature bronze looks way nicer than the s21 ultra colours.

The n20u looks way more unique.

I have since

1. installed galaxy max Hz, set to 96hz ,
2. tweak the power settings
3. adjusted background apps,

quite enjoy the tweaking.
Anything else I missed out?

Notice one thing interesting, if u don't touch the display for about 4 secs, it will drop to 60hz. Any know if this can be adjusted eg to 1/2 secs or drop to 48hz instead?

Seems u are right, I just timed and it's 2 secs now.
Ideally it could be 48hz and 1 sec haha

Currrently I'm 12.5 hours since last charge with 3 hours of on screen time and battery is at 58%. Is this on par with what you get?

Bro, 2 related questions: what's your usage like (social media/vids)? and how's the battery life?

Thanks.

Same boat here. Been getting mixed reviews online (5h-8h). I want to know how Exynos batt life fares on social media use.

I'm getting 7.5 hours of SOT after the upgrade to OneUI3. No gaming. General usage.

7.5hrs sounds good. my current pixel3 is only going for 4hr+ SOT. Im seeing new units at around $1250 on market. if anyone knows a better deal do share! haha

My old Huawei is getting 8 hrs.

Try Carousell for 2nd hand phones, but only get those with warranty.

Hi,

Facebook
YouTube
Browser based video playing
DuoYin

Is what I use daily.

I think I'm probably getting around 7-8 hours of On screen time?

I havent got the chance to run down it to zero yet.

But usually at 60% I have about 3 hours of sot.
At 30% I would have about 5.5-6 hours or SOT.

It's not as good as my Huawei mate 20x for sure, but then that's 60hz. I'm running on 96hz. If it's 60hz I think 9-10 hours of sot is do-able.

Overall I'm quite happy with the battery life, at least I don't have to carry a brick around eg s21 ultra.

Makes me wonder Is there any point to getting a Snapdragon version now?

My Note20 Ultra just got the sudden black screen of death. Able to receive calls, notifications, connect to dex but no display.

Was just on telegram texting, locked the phone and never came back alive.

Making a trip down to the service center today zzzz.
