Thats nice! My hong kong set does not have 5G despite me using the Singtel line with 5G subscription.

For those who are concern if the SD Note 20 Ultra has 5G support locally or not. I have a Korean set and Singtel give me 3 months trial of 5G network. I have tested my SD Note 20 can connect to Singtel 5G network. Tested the 5G speed around 300Mbps at Beach Road area.

Last week, i was on iPhone 12 with my friends in TPY and was connected to 5G for both of us.

But ytd, same area, I'm using HK Note 20 U but 5G was gone, then, i checked my friend's iPhone 12 and his 5G was gone too :s13:

How to get the trial?
I recontracted my Singtel line with 5G phone (Huawei P40 pro) on June. Singtel automatically given me 3 months 5G trial with additional 10Gbs data free. I sold Huawei phone and get Korean set N20U.
The 5G trial is over and I have subscribed to Singtel 5G with 10Gbs data at $10 per month (promo price), usual is $15 per month.

Dont mind when you are free, could you try To swipe down from top of screen, do you see a toggle 5G on and off function?

I remember for samsung devices if the phone software have not activated the software for 5G, there will be a 5G toggle on and off when you swipe down from top of screen

Yes, Singtel given me 3 months trial on 5G and I tested my korean set N20U at Beach Road area, it connected to 5G network with speed around 300Mbps.

When I swipe down from top of the screen, I can't find any 5G toggle on/off button.

Thanks Laserng! That means Hong Kong set does not have 5G support provisioned yet. If you cannot find 5G toggle on and off usually means 5G has been enabled.
