BATTERY LIFE PROLONGING

gUYS- I saw this online and i think it rely useful,
going try this and see if my battery helps! :) anybody can try and experience if battery helps!

Those people that complain that the battery sux. Likely you have activated something that eats up the battery constantly. There's 2 setting I realized eating the battery like crazy.

Wifi -> even when it's off, it's still on in the battery information. This is not a bug, it's a feature. Feature in google search that requires wifi to pin point your location EVEN if you off your main Wi-Fi, it will still constantly search for Wi-Fi location.
To Fix - To off it, go to Wi-Fi setting, press menu, Advanced, uncheck "Scanning always available"

GPS -> Normally using it with Maps. Somehow time to time, when you off it, it doesn't off at all. I can't find any applications using even thou I cleared all the applications in RAM. The only way to off it for now is to restart the phone.

Hopes this helps

For those still using 3b for note 3, switch the data connection to 3g. Cos I realize how come so slow. Realize it is trying to link to 4G. Now switch to 3g, very fast

so u choose 2g + 3g or 3g only? :

GSM/WCDMA (auto connect)"
WCDMA only"

WCDMA = 3G

GSM = M1, singtel or starhub.

Default is set at 4G when arrive, but some of us still using 3G service.

If set to default at 4G, they surfing very slow.

Anyway to access Data Usage directly from Homescreen?

Previously in Note 2, there was a settings widget. From there, you can choose data usage, so that you can view your data usage directly and conveniently from the home screen.

I notice that Note 3 does not have the settings widget.

Using telco app very incovenient, have to use internet to refresh the info.

Checking data usage from settings also very mafan, have to click click click.

Has anyone found a way to get around this?

TIA.
