But Mipad 4 , battery is already having issues and no more updates hence I thought of just replacing with A7 2020. At least most games can be easily downloaded
Just for your consideration. I upgraded from mi pad 4 last year also.
From mi pad 4 to iplay40 to lenovo p11 pro to lenovo pad pro 2021.
Cost:
Iplay40 = $229
Lenovo p11 pro = $285
Lenovo p11 pro 2021= $465
The upgrade from mi pad 4 to iplay40 brings a significant performance enhancement.
The upgrade from iplay40 to lenovo p11 pro brings a slight performance enhancement, but significant quality upgrade as it has much better build quality and speakers.
The upgrade from p11 pro to p11 pro 2021 brings significant performance and graphic enhancement, as well as even better screen quality and lighter weight.
I also play genshin impact. The improvement in graphic quality is the most significant when I upgrade from p11 pro to p11 pro 2021. The GPU in snapdragon 800 series is simply too good compared to the lower and middle range chipsets. If your budget allows, I will recommend mi pad 5 or the lenovo pad pro 2021.
I never consider the Samsung A7 because it's as good as no upgrade, and for that price, it's simply not worth it. It's performance is not better than mi pad 4 (kinda worse in fact as it's more optimized for battery life, not performance). U still cannot play genshin impact with it.

Also do note that snapdragon 662 on the A7 do not support higher than 1080p video, which is actually a downgrade from mi pad 4, which can handle 1440p videos.
