Got alot one lo. Search online can see already. Not only Samsung microSD got fake. Sandisk also have lo. So many online sales channel and also all sites like ebay will have seller selling fake microSD cards. The most safe is buy from local reputable shops. :s22:

Can also get from Amazon or from qoo10 with physical shop in SLS.

Also got to see if they can be trusted. Some may just list it but when you get the card. Its not local. So cant claim Samsung warranty in Singapore. :s22:

For memory cards, it is advisable to buy established brands. I've used a couple of unknown brands in the past and they spoil pretty quick. Data is something you would want to treasure so it is wise to invest a little bit more on it.

wah, if xiaomi come up with memory cards, likely will price it below samsung evo and pro series

I think will be slower than Samsung tooo....

Wonder when they will come out with the UHS-I Class 3 cards.. DOnt understand why they stilll want to rate as UHS-I Class 1

Samsung pro sd and microsd is faster than the minimum 30MB/s write of the UHS-I Class 3 spec. Some brands refresh the existing high speed memory with the UHS-I Class 3 logo.

Which in theory, means they can make the card not perform as it is.. Thats why... I rather they refresh and give us the real assurance of the speed rather than "UP TO...."

I have never use Samsung microSD before.

Reliable ?

Read the review from - Samsung PRO EVO SD MicroSD Memory Card Review

Samsung PRO EVO Memory Card Verdict
The Samsung PRO SDHC memory card offers some of the fastest read and write speeds available as well as offering a 10 year warranty that is also backed up by the card being waterproof, temperature proof, x-ray proof, magnet proof and shock proof, making it much more likely to survive when compared to more fragile cards. We would therefore be happy to recommend the Samsung PRO SDHC memory cards.

The Samsung EVO MicroSDHC card offers reasonably quick read and write speeds, and is also much more competitively priced. The Samsung EVO card offers a similar level of toughness, and for those that need a MicroSD card, it would be a good choice, although for the quickest performance the Samsung PRO SD cards are recommended.

The Samsung PRO SDHC memory card offers fast read and write speeds whilst also being tough enough to withstand rough treatment.

Samsung PRO EVO Memory Card Pros
- 10 year warranty
- MicroSD card comes with adapter
- Water, temperature, x-ray, magnet proof
- SD card is good value for money
- Shockproof SD card

Samsung PRO EVO Memory Card Cons
- MicroSD card slower
- Recovery software not included
- Higher price than less sturdy cards

Didn't know there is UHS-I class 3.
I only see UHS-I logo on the cards. Is there a different logo for class 3 ?

You mean there are no cards rated as UHS-I class 3 yet?

Class 3 Uhs-1 got what difference? Care to share?

UHS-1 Class 3 is a one of the UHS Speed Classes defined by the SD Association. It differs from the usual grading of Class 4,6,10 SD cards which are denoted by a circle. If you noticed, this one is marked by an outer 'U' instead. This is just another form of categorization for SD cards.

UHS Speed Class 3 denotes 30 MB/s minimum write speed so it is generally faster than a normal Class 4/6 card. For comparison with Class 10 cards, it generally depends on the brand and model.

To prevent any confusion, just look at the minimum write/read speed to gauge the potential performance of the cards no matter what class it is.

And as long as there is the word 'UHS' on the model, you will have to check whether your device is compatible with it.
