For my case, I noticed the "send report" notification whenever it switches network (for example from 4G to wifi and vice versa). My diagnostic report is already off in "Privacy and Safety". This is mildly irritating and I hope its not indicative of something faulty :s11:

oh no, hardware issue.
did they willingly change the motherboard ?
I have a feeling that Service Centre will always try first to convince user that the problem is not a problem.
If user don’t complaint much and can live with it, then they will happily close the case.

They replaced willingly after flashing the software did not solve the issue. This is not normal ma.

I went to Samsung Service Centre and asked them about this issue. The technician said is a hardware issue and replaced the motherboard. So far after replaced, i do not see the diagmonagent icon when connecting to wifi, make a call..

Which service centre did you visit? I'm also having this problem even after I turn off the "Report diagnostic info".

Thanks! One more question, how long did they take to replace motherboard?

i went on a sunday and was told i only can collect the next day as they closed early. think if you go early on weekday, you are able to collect on the same day..

Hi MicceL,

I have been busy, haven't check back for a few days...

:( After re-reading your posts, so it's a hardware issues? My friend's note 5 also have this... I was hoping it is software... hmmm.... Now considering if should go service center :s11:

i thought software issue as well initially.. but after flashing software at the service centre did not work.. the technician derived that it is the motherboard issue and replaced it.

Hi MicceL,

Can I confirm, after changing the motherboard your "sending report" issue has stop completely?

Do you also encounter the "sleeping issue"? Though mine has not occur as frequently as some has described at the other thread, it does creep up occasionally.

Just to keep everyone updated. My phone stopped sending reports after an automated Security Policy update last evening.

Great news indeed. After the updating... I also don't see the "sending report" anymore... Yay!

Let's hope the next update will fix the sleep issue... and the phone will be perfect :D

is not a full blown firmware update. just a simple < 1 sec policy update.

can trigger it manually by : setting -> lock screen and security -> other security settings -> security policy updates -> check for updates

just 1 click, the updates will be completed. there will be a notification saying something like : the katest security policy has be applied. no further action is needed. that's all.
