The Clip+ stock earbuds aren't too bad though. Cymbals and acoustic guitar can sound a bit off, missing bass, but definitely a lot better than the IEMs that they supply with handphones.
The Dunu Trident is about $40 (slightly more in some places) but generally good reviews. Bassy, good build quality. I suggest you give them a chance when your current earbuds up lorry.
On topic: Rockbox is quite pointless for me, as I now store everything in mp3 format. Didn't notice a difference in sound before/after rockbox. The apps are fun, but the Clip+ is already great as is.
pairing an amp with my clip+ is useless right, regardless rockboxed anot, cause no lineout.
unless rb got lineout, is it?
Buy the fuze? Can stick in Fiio's Sansa LOD. The Clip+ headphone out sounds just as good as an E7.
Im jelly of the americans who can get the Fuze for $40.![]()

Basically you rockbox it to play with more EQs . If you're a purist then don't bother with rockbox .

tried an amped clip+ with E11, noticed tighter bass and better mid reproduction and a slight widening in the soundstage using B2 iem. problem is, i don know whats the actual sound of the amp lol
Where got such lobang ?![]()

Have. The guy who recommended me said that the Clip+ can be had for US$30, and the Fuze for just over $40. Maybe on certain periods only![]()
