Yup, just drag and drop. Fuze does not have folder browsing unless rockboxed.

But what are the chances of clip+ being bricked?
Cos i really think i shld get clip+ but afraid that rockbox might brick it.
Is rockbox just dragging a file into the clip+ n reboot?

Your main purpose is to rockbox if I am not wrong? You can just drag and drop but must be in the MSC mode. You can just install the original firmware from the website itself.

wouldn't the sweat touches it and kaboom?

I have brought it out to exercise and this is one little hardy music player. Of course, excessive moisture can damage it.

As of the 1.02.26 and 2.02.26 firmware revisions, Fuze now supports Replay Gain for MP3, WMA (non-DRM only), Vorbis and FLAC, which utilizes any Replay Gain metadata that has been encoded into the media files. Also, navigation by folder was implemented as an addition to browsing by metadata. [4][5]

from wiki, does this meant folder browsing is avalible wif ofw?

Ok erm, Fuze can have folder browsing only when it is rockboxed.
The player will be read as a removable disc(flash storage) in MSC mode while in MTP mode, it needs a proprietary software to transfer stuff. Just like how your iphone needs itunes.
I use MSC mode all the time for your information.

Whoa at the questions.

Ok. In lame man terms, just use the MSC mode. It's simpler.
If you do not rockbox the Fuze, the player will go strictly by tags. Means if your songs are not properly tagged, you would have some trouble finding them.
Regarding the version of the player, you would have to ask the person selling it.

I have used a Sansa clip plus and getting it again soon.

Have not tried rockboxing my clip plus but may try it on my future one. Or maybe wait till they release a stable version of the firmware.

I was also thinking of getting either the Clip plus or the Fuze last time but ended up with the Clip plus as it sort of 'beats' the Fuze in many ways except for the smaller screen. But when watching videos, it is just not satisfactory on the Fuze but that's just my two cents.
