Imo , i feel Fuze is better as the screen is bigger and can use LOD . In terms of sq , both also the same before or after rockbox .

The chances of u bricking ur Clip+ / Fuze is very low unless u use the wrong fw / wrong installation method i guess . I'm rockboxed both my Clip+ and Fuze and nth seems to go wrong . The only issue is that sometimes if u click too fast and such , it might hang then haf to leave it then until the batt dies out and reboot into OFW and charge .

Your main purpose is to rockbox if I am not wrong? You can just drag and drop but must be in the MSC mode. You can just install the original firmware from the website itself.



I have brought it out to exercise and this is one little hardy music player. Of course, excessive moisture can damage it.

yes and I sweat alot. lol! so need a good casing or sealed ones..

My Fuze is V2 . It nv give me any prob after rockbox . To me Fuze looks nicer loh .

Fuze no prob at all after rockbox even tho they say it's unstable . Yeah can .

It's still up to u . I would take Fuze becos of the LOD but currently using Clip+ instead of Fuze tho .

Becos after rockbox , both sound the same so i use the Clip+ instead since it's smaller .

Bundle wif amp also easier .
