Non mature estate. Nearest grocery is NTUC which is about 7-10 mins away at the MRT. Nearby primary and secondary school. Got coffee shop downstairs though (pros is near food but cons is the supposed noise generation) but really, there has been zero disturbance throughout my life. Near carpark too but close window and it’s fine.

The house was bought from HDB at 210K if I’m not mistaken, sold it off nearly 400k for 4 room :)

Perhaps include it as part of a downpayment scheme, forfeited if applicants don't choose a flat after getting a queue number. In a way similar to resale market with a 1000 OTP. Will make people consider very strongly if they actually are willing to bid then.

u are right, ballot price should increase to maybe 100 or 200 or even 500 so that ppl will not ballot just to get their dream home. Or decides to forgo their chance if the unit of their choice is taken.

then maybe minus of the $$ from the stamp fees or etc.

Too many ppl ballot JUST for fun, for their dream unit and for the best investment unit.

This public housing not some condo..HDB is to provides a roof for public masses.
