Maybe is the cost or just a better option appear? U will be surprised, my bukit merah 4 room has a high drop out rate: first 5 only 1 choose. Next 4, 3 choose. Today another 4, only 1 choose. So total is 13 pax but only 5 choosen

Do note that HDB will be announcing new initiative for first timer to buy a new HDB flat in Sept 2019.
The aug BTO will be postponed to sept so that more 1st timer buyer can benefit for the new scheme.

I may be giving up my SBF selection (5 room Tempanese) so as to enjoy more subsidy to be announced in sept.

What new scheme?

Edit: Never mind, just browsed the news and saw this:

First-timers buying new and resale HDB flats to get more help, details to be revealed in September https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/housing/hdb-sales-exercise-delayed-a-month-so-home-buyers-can-benefit-from-september

The next Build-To-Order exercise should see about 3,350 flats in Punggol and Tampines on offer.

Doesn't look like it's gonna be much of a game changer for the rest of us. Hold on to your balloted numbers.

It will be a game changer if they increase the income ceiling further. Means more competitive for us. Suddenly the EC people also apply for HDB. Game change for worst for us. Hahahahahahaha.

I believe some candies are on the way but the next BTO exercise as I quoted is Punggol and Tampines.. and in Nov - Tengah, AMK & Tampines again. The next SBF should be in Nov as well.

This is my 3rd time rolling the dice so the candies have to be over the top for me to even entertain the idea of rolling the dice again.

U probably gotta wait abit longer. Cos 400 plus is still abit far from your fren number. They will release batch by batch and we will not know also when they will release those 400 plus queue number.

In most cases here, it is seen that they will inform u abt 1 month in advance your appt date although stated that they will do it min 2 weeks in advance
