Hi all! I have a question.... I heard that for flats under the SERS scheme, MOP would be 7 years. In this case, I have bought this SERS flat under May's SBF. Would it be 5 years or 7 years?

I am not sure if u need to fulfil 7 or 5 but the 7 years is not MOP. For sers it is to my understanding,

7 years from the date of selection of replacement flat OR 5 years from the date of occupation (Whichever is earlier)

Speaking of schemes, just to let everyone know as well in case of confusion or misconception.

For MCPS scheme, we the kids still can’t sell the flat in the 5 years MOP. That one understood. Parents on the other hand CAN sell their flat, but their new flat must be within 4km of the child still. If more than 4km, HDB will decline the purchase.

If there is flat available and you didn't choose, u will get 1 count of not choosing flat.
2 count = lose first timer privilege (1 extra ballot chance) for 1 year.
