Almost give up my tampines 5 room selection. After calculation, I think not much different for me, so decided to go for selection.

Yesterday only 10 units selected, guess 5 person give up and drop rate is round 33.33%.
I believe all those that applied should have a chance to select a unit which is good for all the 500 plus applicants.

So surprise that my parent got an appoint in 16 Oct for Yishun at Q19+ . Can anyone help me to understand if they can choose the 2rm (99year) flat but only want 45 years lease ?

Yes, you can choose the 2-room short lease available blocks and units for senior citizen.

Yes, you can choose the 2-room available blocks and units from the 99 years blocks and units with shorter years. This is what I did 10 days ago for a 2-room flexi for senior that are listed for short lease/99 years.

There are days where HDB dont call any no, maybe to call other projects etc.

Last number called at the current moment is 207 for Tampines 4rm.
There are 299 flats left. You probably have a chance of choosing a flat. However, mostly low levels left rn.
Majority of the flats left are in the GreenVines [ready 1Q 2022] project.
