Droprate coincidentally increased with the new HDB measure news... maybe some people really choose to forgo their selection

It should have min impact for BTO first time buyer except those buying mature estate and 5 room buyer.
For resale buyer, they benefit more cost they are get another 40k compared to last time.

As tampines is considered mature estate, first time buyer should give up this selection and apply again in sept in order to qualify for the addition 40K, total grand $80k.

Yup. Your income doesn’t qualify for EHG...so you can don care about al the new announcements liao.

Yes. The new grants apply only to applications submitted from September 2019 onwards.

As what some have reply, even if you haven go for selection, the new grant scheme is not applicable to you.

The reason why August launch is push back to Sept is due to this new grant. Or rather repackaged grant..

And so only those application from Sept 2019 launch onwards is eligible.

The best choice for those first timer who are eligible for the addition $40k is to give up the selection for this SBF and apply for the next SBF.
What ever balance for this SBF will definitely go to the next SBF.
I will give up my selection and go for the next SBF.

May want to check your appointment package for documents details! Because depending on your employment status or full time student etc or if under any priority scheme, I believe will be different document? Typically is the stated months’ payslip and NRIC + all the declaration/application form enclosed haha

Today (13/9, Friday) for Tampines 5 Room, the selection queue number range from Q77 to Q92.
So far morning only 4 units selected out of the 16 invited.
Look like the dropout rate started to increase. For the last 3 days the dropout rate is 3 out of 15 , about 20%.

That’s nice! My project has the reverse effect - from the announcement day onwards, the selection has been 100% 10/10 instead shucks.

Just discovered the tampines 5 room May SBF is cheaper compare to the new tampines BTO launch in sept 2019. Looking at the same location at Tampines st 62 projects :

5 room max cost $47380 at Tampine Geen Dew (May SBF) whereas for Tampines Green Glen (Sept BTO) max cost $505000.

The difference can be used to offset the $40k grant. May consider to select the SBF Tampines 5 room if high floor is still available.
