Because I see that project have more than 1 unit available.

is apply for the project, then balloting will be done, and ballotees pick from the pool of units just like how it is done for BTO.

If u apply punggol 4 room, all punggol 4 room can be ballot

Sale of balance flat

if Yishun got 38 4 room flat for selection, you are eligible for all 38 but depends on your ballot Q result,

If you got Q No. 1-20, you have luxury to choose & also pray that flat you want didn’t choose by others if you land on no.20

if you got 39-50, you may invited for flat selection if Q no1 to no38 there a number of it
- 2nd thought don’t want to choose the flat
- cannot meet the requirement per HDB
- didn’t attend their appointment

but many are well over 5,some are over 50..
I SBF are damn attractive, same as winning toto 2 million being fun,, but what is the chance?

Yishun only have 7 unit for 5 room
(Very slim chances) as per attach below

Also appointment depends on the alphabet of the town too from the observation for 2021 moment

Nov 2021 - SBF
Jan 2022 - ballot result
Feb to March (aft CNY) - already heards news ppl from A to J town already book a flat (amk - Jurong)

woodland around end March 2022
while Y-yishun book a flat mid April 2022

• Applications include those who have applied in earlier sales launches, some of whom may be waiting to book a flat, which on average form about 20% of total applications. From past sales launches, about 40% of the invited flat applicants did not proceed to book a flat. Thus, most applicants will be able to select a flat if the application rate of the project is below 1.7.

If very picky, think you need to have at least 100 units of SBF in that estate to apply.

5 rooms are so popular nowadays, cause they building too few of them
